Recharge

Lately, i seems to be getting tired very easily, and feeling sleepy almost everyday before i even begin my work. I dont know why i was so drained out for the past weeks. Is it because of the increasing work assignments? Is it because of the annoying disturbance that i have been getting consistently? Is it because of the numerous errands that i need to take responsible of, all of a sudden?

I really have no idea. Maybe i have been doing too much of thinking?

I need to recharge. Badly.

Btw, YD's birthday today but he is on leave. It's his routine every year to take a day off on his birthday, and get a cake for himself and his youngest daughter back home. The daughter birthday is tomoro. Seriously, he is a good father and she is a very lucky girl.

It's a bird, it's a plane!

Feeling sleepy now, so early in the morning. I havent started working on anything yet, my brain is still locked in the dreamland.

I went for the Superman Returns premiere show last nite. It was a RHB Credit Cards event, and my fren managed to redeem 2 tics during their promotion period in MV sometime ago. For those who has never been to any preview, cellphones, cameras or any electrical devices are not allowed into the movie hall. U know, pirated stuff is quite a big issue here.

So i had my cellphones checked in at the designated counter, confirming that they've sealed the plastic containing my belongings before proceeding to the entrance to get my body scanned for any electrical devices that are not declared. They had to 'scan' us, not that we are some dangerous criminals but there ARE some ppl who are simply ignorant and tried to bring them in secretly.

The screening was late, as expected. Luckily they've provided a small pack of popcorn and a can of coke for every patron, so i had my time occupied munching the food. The last premiere show i went to (for the movie War of the Worlds) did not have any popcorn or coke for us. So this little extra "service" kind of make up for my disappointment for their punctuality. Im just so easy to get bribed.. O_o

The movie was just ok. Not so much of action as i have expected. A very typical super hero movie, save the world kind of thing. No deep kissing or censored scene, sorry if u are hoping for that. But there is a new plot, he will not be alone anymore. Superboy is here... oopppss... did i blurt out something that i shouldnt have? ^_^

No early match

The football frenzy continues as the 2nd round started last Sat. I finally manage to catch my first full world cup match (Argentina vs Mexico) at 3am last morning. I wanted to watch the 11pm match between Germany and Sweden at first, but alas, it was not shown on the local TV station AGAIN! How could they not show such a great match? Sigh...

But the match between Argentina and Mexico was well worth staying up for. The two teams are very familiar with each other and that is why they cancel each other out. They have to fight up to the extra time to determine the rightful winner. Simply marvellous. Argentina won by 2-1 in the end. I think they have not lifted the World Cup for a very very very long time. *counting fingers*

When i told my frens that i stayed up till 5 something in the morning, just for the sake of the football match, they couldnt believe me. They never thought a girl would sacrifice her sleep - disobeying her beauty regime for this crazy football thingy. I never thought i could stay awake that long myself. Havent been doing this for a long time...

Feels tired. And i think im getting crazier too. Guess im living quite an interesting life now.. yeah, for now.

Oh, we love Latin!

Few weeks back, we were still discussing about having a Latin Dance party. Everything was uncertain, and it was more like a wish list than a to-do list. But one of them took the initiative to organize the whole party and made it a great success.

We had a lot of fun at the Latin Nite @ Broadwalk last Fri. It was raining cats and dogs, of all the days in the week and it has to be that nite. How lucky... -_-

Huei Nei and her bf were stuck in the traffic for almost 3 hours but she still came to pick us up to the party as promised. I thought we were late but when we reached the pub, we were one of the earliest to arrive. So we didnt really miss a thing.

As we sat down and started gobbling our food (forgive us, we were starving!), more and more people turned up. I didnt realise that the dance center has so many students cos i havent seen most of the guests that nite. Well, there were some cute guys, but how come i havent met them before? I wonder which day is their class.. *planning to switch the time table*

There is this great couple who danced perfectly, their every moves are gentle and smooth and flawless. Me and my dancemates were speechless, our jaw nearly touched the ground. Our instructor, Sharon (2nd from right in the pic) told us that they are actually husband and wife, and they have been competing in countless of competitions over the past few years. Gosh, no wonder they are so good!

I had my share of dances too, of cos. Cha Cha, Jive, Salsa, Samba, Line dance, etc.. etc.. It gave me a pretty hard time at the beginning cos i forgot some of the steps. Lack of practice i guess... :P

What to do, we only dance once in a week for one hour. Cannot expect too much rite?

They are doing line dance in a group.

Im getting more and more into Latin. The other day, while i was having breakfast with mum..

"when is ur dance class gonna be over?"
"huh? there is no end date for this. im now in bronze level, so as time goes by, im gonna move up to silver and finally gold level lor"
"what? are u saying that this is a never ending class?"
"erm, not really. depending on whether i wanna be a competitor, or just do casual dancing"
"gosh.. u are really serious in doing this my dear?"

I never thought i will love this. Initially, when i started scouting for a suitable dancing academy, i intended to learn hip hop. I like the way they move their body, so graceful and yet so sexy and cool. But i couldnt find one with a good instructor, convenient location & time and most importantly affordable to me. Getting these 3 criterias met is seriously quite hard.

Then my ex-coll found this academy while she was having lunch in SS2 one day, and suggested that we gave it a try. And the rest, as they said, were history.

Maybe i will try on the hip hop thing some day. Meantime, we should do this Latin party thing more often. It is really fun, dont u think so?

Life as an engineer

Is their life really so pathetic?

When i just completed my SPM (O-Level), i was the odd one around applying for a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science in a local university. Almost all of my frens (mostly guys) were applying for engineering courses; Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, etc, etc.

I wonder what happened to these people worshipping engineering like it was the best job in this world. When they knew i applied for computer instead, they gave me a weird stare and threw me a thousand of reasons why it was a bad choice. It was as if i were killing myself and locking my whole life in a big black hole, with no turning back. Even my mom told me to go for engineering courses as my first choice.

Yea, it was really that honourable and proud taking up an engineering field as ur future career back then.

And it is still that way now, for the older folks. When my cousin told my uncle that her bf is an engineer, i could see his eyes shining "Wow, he IS an engineer? Good la u, can get such a nice bf".

-_-"""

Nowadays, engineers and IT folks are walking on the same path. The population is so big in both fields until the extend that, u might hit at least one or two engineers/IT folks if u throw a stone into a crowd. O_o

And i am sure more than half of the people reading this are either IT people or engineers. Right?

20062006

My mind was at work for the whole day. We are going to upgrade our current server to a better new hardware, which is going to be a whole lot faster and greater in terms of capability in running our jobs and populating the data and reports needed by our users worldwide.

Then i got this SMS from my fren, wishing me a happy day cos apparently today is a very special day. 20062006 - 20th June 2006. Hmm, people are really creative now, they seem to be able to make almost every day a special day.

I dont know bout others, but for me, im feeling nothing special except SLEEPY. I need to get some sleep.

Are u always punctual?

I was supposed to meet someone at 10am today. I went there earlier, so that he will not have to wait for me and in return, i would certainly hope he'd do the same too.

10 mins passed.. *tick*tock*
15 mins passed.. *tick*tock*tick*
20 mins passed.. *tick*tock*tick*tock*
25 mins passed.. *tick*tock*tick*tock*tick*
30 mins passed.. *tick*tock*tick*tock*tick*tock*

That's it. I picked up my cellphone and gave him a ring. He said he is gonna be a bit late and will be on his way immediately. What?

If u know u are gonna be late, cant u be at least a lil bit considerate of that someone who is waiting for u, and give him/her an advance notice? Just give him/her a call, so that he/she will expect u being late, rather than waiting blindly, not knowing if u forgot the appointment or what.

I was nice enuff to have waited for half an hour before making the call, thinking that he might be caught in a terrible jam. But the fact that he was only about to make his way here at the time i called him, that really pissed me off!

And that was not the first time. Previously, he cancelled the appointment abruptly cos it clashed with his another appointment. That was so not-professional, cos he should have checked his organizer before making another appointment with his client. -_-

So we agreed to meet the next day after lunch. Right before lunch time, he called to cancel the meeting again cos he had to attend a training for the whole day. Right...

He scheduled it to Sunday, with no time specified. I was stupid enuff to let him do that, thinking that he might need to check his organizer properly this time and let me know the suitable slot later. It was almost 2pm, and i still have yet to hear from him. Gave him another call, and guess what! It was a morning call for him, as he was still in bed! Can u believe how irresponsible this person is? I know it is the world cup fever, and i cant blame him for getting some sleep after watching the games in the wee hours. But work is still work, u just have to keep ur promise. Am i being too demanding?

If u were counting just now, u would have figured out that today was the fourth time he missed his appointment. I got a newspaper and started flipping it, to keep my mind off my anger. He came finally, and i tried to be cool throughout our conversation. No war happened. O_o

Do u think punctuality is important in our life? Have u ever thought of the person who is waiting for u?

I know i am not punctual everytime i meet up with my frens, but not being punctual on EVERY appointment is something that is a bit hard to accept.

*cool down*

Happy Father's Day!

The day come and go. No special arrangement.

Eversince dad passed on, we havent been celebrating this occasion. Sometimes, i'd even forgot about it totally until few weeks later, when i realised that it was already over.

When me and my mom were outside to get our dinner just now, the usual restaurant that we normally went to were more crowded than we thought it will be. And then it struck our mind that it is Father's Day and people were out celebrating. Forgive us, we did not plot this date on our calendar.

Anyway, i would like to wish every father in this world, "Happy Father's Day"! This day is dedicated to u, we all love u!

The moon is full

I just came back from my cousin's baby full moon party. Initially i thought it was a family thingy, but least did i know she and her husband invited a mass crowd. Luckily we went there early, so we managed to get a nice table to feast on our food.

The catering company that they hired is really good. The food was delicious, the buffet table was decorated nicely, and the waiters gave a superb service. This is really the best house buffet i have ever had so far. *thumbs up*

Enormous plate of fruits, the nice deco at the end of the table for the desserts, countless supply of food for the eager guests, and the n-rounds of food feasting session on my table.

It was a marvelous nite. A nice gathering for the family and relatives, plus the neighbours in the Ampang neighbourhood town.

And here is the main person of this partay. The lovely baby.

See how cute the little baby is... *awww*

Im always fond of babies and kids, so dont be surprised im acting this way. I was a babysitter/nanny for my twin cousin when i was Standard Six, and she was just a month old then. I took care of her, changed her diapers, fed her, bathed her, played with her, slept beside her, until she was almost 5.

Now she is already studying Form 1, how fast time flies.

Old frens met up

Last week, one of our colleagues who went to work in PHX for more than a year, came back for a short vacation. Actually, it is her sister's wedding ceremony this weekend, so as a sister, she should come back and attend the joyful event.

A few of us went to have lunch @ Amarin Heavenly Thai, Mid Valley, a treat from the big boss. I have never been there before, but i heard some good compliments about their food. Price wise, more to the high end side, so we were really lucky to be able to enjoy the food for free.

The entourage. Lee Shin, 2nd from left.

Pandan chicken, green curry chicken, baby kailan with salted fish, seafood with egg, steamed siakap fish and tom yam soup. *yum*yum*

We had a lot of fun, discovering different version of Hokkiens, whom some of us are. Lee Shin for example hails from the north Hokkien, where as Jeff and Eddy are more to the south side. Me on another hand, is a mix of both...

Well, i can explain this. My grandma was from Tanjung Malim, and her family spoke North Hokkien. My grandpa was an immigrant from China so his Hokkien is very "chim" (the tone of the language is very deep) and are more similar to the South Hokkien now. So we, the next 3rd generation had all the languages mixed up. O_o

U know, i can speak to my bro in 4 languages on one single sentence. Believe it or not, we add up Malay, English, Hokkien and Cantonese into our communications. You might be shocked when u hear us! But frankly, i speak more to the North side, so i have no problem communicating with Lee Shin in Hokkien.

So there we were, 4 of us, exchanging words in the restaurant. I bet the waiter was surprised seeing what we were doing then. :P

It was a nice chat we all had. And she is still as pretty as she used to be. Pretty and SMART to be exact!

Till we meet again.

My cubicle song

This is the lyrics to a song to be sung in the tune of "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. It's called "My Cubicle". Creative...

My job is stupid,
My day's a bore,
Inside this office,
From 8 to 4.

Nothing ever happens,
My life is pretty blank,
Pretending that I am working,
Pray I don't get canned.

My cubicle, my cubicle,
It's 1 of 62,
It's my small space,
In a crowded place,
Just a six by six board booth,
And I hate it, that's the truth.

When I give a sigh,
As the boss walks by,
No one ever talks to me,
Or looks me in the eye,
And I really should work,
But instead I just sit here,
And surf the internet.

And my cubicle, my cubicle,
It doesn't have a view,
It's my small space,
In a crowded place,
I sit inside there too,
And sometimes I sit here nude.

World Cup fever

The game is ON!

I heard people talking about this latest "trend" everywhere, in the office, in the cafe, in the radio, in the TV, in the paper, in the mamak stall, in the internet, in the forwarded mail... basically EVERYWHERE!

I have not been able to catch a full single match eversince the world cup started. The only match that i have managed to watch was between Korea and Togo, and that was also because i was so happen having drinks with my frens in a cafe with Astro Sports Channel on the TV. And that also for only about 30 mins mebbe? I managed to witness the first goal by Togo though..

Onr of the main reason why is because, i dont have Astro in my house, which are showing every single match live. Therefore, i could only count on our local TV station for some shares of football joy. But everytime i switched on the TV for the first match at 9pm, i cant seem to find any station airing them. TV1, TV2, TV3, NTV7, 8TV. NONE!

I thought they have a fix time for every match, like 9pm, 12am and 3am Malaysia time? So when i checked the paper the next day, they were showing delayed match at different different time. Sigh...

No wonder Astro has more than 1 million of subscribers nationwide. Local station memang cannot compete at all. I have already given up on catching any match live unless i hang out @ my fren's house with Astro. -_-

Now, i am relying on the early morning daily updates sent by my mobile network provider for the results and scores of the 3 matches. Never a day missed. ^_^

The other day, i received this forwarded image from my fren. People are getting very creative.

Medical certificate just for the football fans.

Prepare for more sleepless nights. There is still a lot yet to come.

Unusual encounter

I dunno why, but lately i just tend to crave for some particular food. First, it was for a delicious Pan Mee (a type of Chinese noodle). Eversince the Pan Mee stall in SS17 has moved, we have not been able to get hold of a nice, if not better, Pan Mee.

Then i wanted to eat Ikan Bakar (grilled fish) so badly, therefore we went to the famous Ikan Bakar stall @ Jln Belamy, near the Istana Negara last Saturday for lunch. *yummy*

Yesterday, i craved for the salt baked chicken (yea, direct translation from the cantonese word "yim kuk kei") sold in a pasar malam near my house. It has been a long time since i had one, seriously, i miss it so much. When i was a kid, i used to eat that every Sunday (cos that is the only time when the stall is opened for business at that particular pasar malam). And that is the ONLY food i eat for my dinner. Nothing else.

Just to satisfy the food devil in me, my mom and i went to the pasar malam for dinner last night. Initially, i thought of getting the salt baked chicken only, but the assam laksa nearby caught my attention (it is quite famous too). After a bit of hesitations, we decided to feast on the assam laksa as well. -_-

With all that, I can barely consume any more food after that. Too full. For those who knew me, they know the size of my stomach. That amount of food i had is considered amazing for me already. *burp*

My mom jokingly told me that if i continue craving and eating like this, im gonna be a fat girl very soon.

"i think u have grown fatter lately. i remembered u being slimmer."
"is it?" *looked at body conciously*
"yea, who ask u to eat so much... haha."

Oh shit, no way.. I will start to diet tomorrow. I will! *praying hard that i wont crave for anymore food*

On our way back to the car, we walked past a row of tore down stalls. My family used to go to one of those stalls for claypot chicken rice and chap fan, when my dad was still here. It was a bit sad, seeing all the old memories gone, making way for new development at that area.

As i was sentimentally recalling the happy times, i was disturbed by some uneasy noise. And only then i saw a lot of rats busy digging into the rubbish and woods, trying to find some food i guess. Yes, u heard me, A-LOT. If u are wondering, my definition for a lot is a quantity of more than 10.

And they were running everywhere.. inside the rubbish, beside the drain, on the road, under the trees. Disgusting and definately an eyesore i would say. O_o

We hurriedly walk to my car, terrified that the bunch of rats will jump at us. Well, no fret my fren. My imagination is sometimes kinda interesting and exaggerating. But before we manage to reach our car, we saw a group of dogs hanging around nearby. It looked like they drew a border themselves, among the rats and the dogs. They never intrude the other party's area, which is quite amusing since they are just only animals.

The whole scenario did not end just like that. Right before i took off from the parking area, a pair of dogs decided to treat me with a free show, and started to make out in front of me, without shame. Oh my god. Should i get a lottery today?

I guess my evening has been very unusual and eventful that particular day.

Sao Nam

The search for good food is on again! This time around, we went to Sao Nam @ Tengkat Tong Shin, Bukit Bintang for some nice Vietnamese cuisines. I came to know about this restaurant when it was featured in The Star paper last Sat. Apparently, it was honoured as Malaysia Tatler's Best Restaurant for year 2006.

The South Vietnamese Crispy Pancake (Banh Xeo) seems like a pretty hot item in its menu, so we decided to give it a try. Actually i have tried once when i was in Aussie, it was really good. The one over here is not bad too. *yummy*

The cutest thing of all is the metal thingy that they hung on the toilet's door. There was no indication/difference for gents and ladies. Tsk.. Tsk... Tsk....

Cool eh? :)

The night is getting late, and i should go back to sleep.

Crowded pasar malam

Last Wed, i went to the pasar malam (night market) @ Taman Connaught. In case u are not aware of this, it was named as the longest night market in Malaysia. Of cos, I am not simply honouring them with that, but rather i heard this from Mix FM few years back. I cant remember when was the last time i been there, but i do remember it being very crowded. In fact, it still is...

There was this one particular stall which sells dessert fondue with melted chocolate into which fruits or marshmallow are dipped. The dipped fruits/marshmallow were then soaked into a bucket of iced water to harden the outer chocolate layer. It was then sold to consumers ranging from RM1 to RM3 per stick, depending on what fruit u chose.

A lot of people surrounded the stall, but only a minor of them are actually buying the food. I was one of the crowd who was just looking at how the whole process works, with astonishment.

This is the first time i see such kind of food being sold in pasar malam (although it might not sound new to u). Well, i havent been to one for a long time, if u are wondering.. I have only tried fondue once in a restaurant in Sri Hartamas.

There is another famous stall selling fried chicken fillet called Uncle BOB. I am not sure if u have heard about it, but it is really FAMOUS (quoted from my fren). Selling at RM4.90, not so cheap i would say, but it is good. No harm trying, and i think u will love it. If i am not mistaken, the taste might differ if u buy it from a different place/stall, cos this fried chicken thingy is franchised. SO u might be ended up getting it from another seller (who has a different way of preparing and frying the chicken).

It was a nice way of chilling out the night with frens.. do something different from mamak. Lots and lots of nice food. *slurp*

Happy Birthday for our Uncle!

What happened if an uncle becomes older? Should we call him Ah Pek instead? *keke*

Happy Birthday Chee Siong! And dont u feel shy about the "uncle" status ya, cos that was not honoured because of your age, but it was because of your wisdom..

OK, maybe i am not telling the true reason, but come on, let's give him a compliment and made him happy for a day at least! *nods head*

p/s: Look at how everyone loves to hammer our dear Uncle? *he is wearing blue*wink*wink*

Happy Bird-day, Jovy!

It has been more than a year since i last saw u during the Kuala Selangor day trip. And that explains why i put up this pic that we took at that time. I cant find other photos other than that.

I guess we havent been keeping in touch that much after we've graduated from UTM. Maybe work has been keeping us apart, or is it due to procrastination or excuses by far?

The other night when i was having dinner with my dance mates, one of them brought up an interesting discussion.

"We are at the mid of the year, but have u think about what we have done/achieved for the last half year?"

Seriously speaking, i dunno for sure. I have been pretty busy working so far, i guess i really havent been doing enough or spending enough quality time with my loved ones, family and frens.

Thinking back about it, i have not kept in touch with quite a number of my old frens... :P

Anyways, Happy Birthday Jovy! May u be pretty always!

An early gift

My birthday is supposed to be in August, but i got an early gift today, from the company. And this year, we had a blue and fat thermos (vacuum flask), made in China.

Jeff purposely asked us to put all our thermos on top of our cube and took a few shots of it. He did that the last time we got our microwave oven too. Haha.. so is this a tradition, huh Jeff?

But the winner goes to HK, cos he managed to accummulate most of the gifts from the company on the spot.

HK with the gifts; microwave oven, mug, thermos, umbrella, pen, trolley bag and ON doll.

It is raining heavily again now.. meaning massive jam again later. Darn.

p/s: Jeff, sorry for thinking u as the culprit just now. haha.. u are not that "small air" rite? give u a candy as reimbursement lar.

*hugz*

An auspicious or haunted day?

I know most of u would have known that today is one very "special" day. Marked as the auspicious day for some cos it goes by the date 06-06-06. But today is also the birth of Satan, which is something most of the Christians are aware of.

As i was about to leave for dancing class today, the weather was undeniably bad. Thunders were heard every few minutes, which kinda made me feel that the "sky is falling" (doesnt that sounds familiar?). I was seriously dragging my feet and heart to drive all the way to the dancing class under this circumstances, the traffic is definitely gonna be worst!

Nevertheless, i made the trip in the end, braced through the massive jam and the malfunctioned traffic lights (which is very NORMAL, after a super bad weather). Although a few traffic polices were on duty, it doesnt really helped to improve the condition that much.

I was late for about 15 mins, of cos. And to my disappointment, the class was cancelled, cos the instructor couldnt make it on time as well. *sigh*

Since the traffic was still teribble outside, me and my dancing mates decided to go for dinner at Island Cafe in SS2 (at the other end of McD). It was fun yacking with u guys... hopefully we could do this more often in the future. *wink*

Dont forget our date!

Careless is not an excuse

This world is always full of cynical and skeptical people.

When u see a slow moving car, it must have been a lady driver...
When u see a badly parked car, it must have been a lady driver...
When u see a recklessly driven car, it must have been a lady driver...
When u see an unbelieveable accident, it must have been a lady driver...

What kind of discrimination is that? Are we still debating who is the superior one among the 2 gender?

IMHO (in my humble opinion), not all lady's a bad driver. It depends on individual. Some say ladies cannot read maps too, but me and Lee Yan drove in Victoria, Aussie by just relying on their maps. And we never got lost, not a single second. Meanwhile, a male friend of mine got lost numerous times even if he got the simplest and the best map around.

So the next time u see someone driving recklessly, for all u know, it could have been a male driver. And i can assure u, the number of male drivers driving like a maniac in KL is just as much.

I went to fetch my mom from my cousin's apartment in Desa Aman Puri today. She is finally back from her Taiwan trip with my aunt, which marks the end of my "home alone" day @ home. I have never seen or heard her being this happy after a trip, she was practically talking non-stop about her wonderful and unlimited "makan" journey. Anyway, that is not the main point here...

While we were having lunch at one of the hawker centres there, a lady driver simply parked her car at the right side of the road, just next to the hawker centre. Okie, fine, i dont really blame her for there is really very limited parking spaces at that area.

I guessed she met one of her long lost friends there, cos she started chatting and laughing loudly, which seemed to disturb other partrons nearby. She caught my attention as well, cos i was just sitting 2 tables away. O_o

Then more and more people came to join her and her friends, so they decided to find a bigger table which can accommodate all of 'em. That is when something interesting happened. Apparently, she put her car keys on the first table and forgot all about it when they moved to the other table. It was lying there, until the cleaner came to pick up the used plates and glasses. He hand in the keys to the tauke at the cashier counter and resumed his cleaning work.

About 15 mins later, the lady found out that about her missing keys (finally), and was a bit paranoid. She looked up and down the table, searched high and low, at the verge of breaking down and cry. The cleaner saw her and brought her to the tauke for the keys.

We witnessed the whole incident. I felt a bit pity for her but my cousin said she deserved it. That should give her a good lesson for being so careless.. -_-

But it is sadly true. Carelessness should not be an excuse for what that has happened. Luckily the cleaner is an honest guy. What could have happened if he took the keys and got away with the car?

And all the news that we've read in the newspaper about some ladies being raped or robbed or kidnapped or assaulted came flashing in my mind. The assailant managed to take this advantage because of their carelessness for not locking the car after they got in. We have been told so many times to do that, but still the same mistake happened over and over again. Who can u blame but urself?

My bro always remind me to lock my car, which has been a routine for me now. Even if i sit in my friend's car, i will remind or demand them to lock their car. For those who used to fetch me, they knew before i even open my mouth...

*jumps into the car*
"hey..."
"yeah i know, central lock rite?"
"u know me best..."
"why u so scared? there is a MAN here u know.."
"but the problem is, can see but cannot fight!" *evil grin*
"...."

Better be safe than sorry ppl.

Heineken Meet U There!

Check this out. Heineken's latest commercial takes viewer on a drive through time.

1 June 2006, Kuala Lumpur - Heineken launched its latest cinema commercial today. Titled “Unchanged Perfection”, Movie-goers will also be able to catch it in cinemas nationwide starting today.

The latest Heineken commercial showcases the authenticity and distinctiveness of the Heineken brew that remains unchanged since its inception in 1873. The new commercial tells the story of a young man on his way to pick up a six pack of Heineken beer. Produced originally for the Australian market, the commercial is now being used by other countries around the region such as Taiwan, Singapore and now Malaysia. It’s made in the same sophisticated, irreverent style that has come to be associated with all Heineken commercials.

Heineken commercials have been known to bring a smile and a laugh to its viewers. As Malaysians, we will remember the popular Heineken cinema commercial that featured Brad Pitt braving the hordes of paparazzi to get to his Heineken. Heineken also proved to be more desirable than Jennifer Aniston in the commercial where a fellow supermarket shopper picks Heineken over Aniston.

“Unchanged Perfection” begins with a young man who pops out to pick up a six pack of Heineken. The taxi ride to his regular bar morphs into a surreal drive through time. What happens when he finally gets to the bar? Will he get his Heineken in the end? Watch the Heineken "Unchanged Perfection" commercial to find out.
