Time passes us by

In a matter of days, we are gonna experience a whole new year again. Time really flies, dont u think so?

I was chatting with an old fren back in uni a while ago, regarding what to do this weekend to welcome the new year. I dont have any firm plans yet, but he will be heading towards north and "sleep thru the year", or so he said.

We sort of roughly recalled back what we have went thru or done this year, u know, how we met up who and who in the lrt station, how we bumped into who and who in the same new company, how we did this and that and etc, etc. It is really funny when u realised that u came to talk to someone whom u rarely spoke to when we were still studying in uni. Guess we have changed, for the better.

Then the conversation grew interesting.

S: "say, last time we went penang, were u with us?"
J: "when was the last time?"
S: "before grad"
S: "where we stayed at kevin's"
J: "yea yea"
J: "i was there too"
J: "with W and gf"
S: "yeah."
S: "strange, cant remember if we took any photos."
S: "seems no photo records of the trip"
J: "dont think we took any"
J: "cos i dont have it too"
S: "but cant really remember wat we did..."
S: "except for the ferry part.."
S: "and the lesbian on the cable car."
J: "yea yea!!!"
J: "the ferry part is funny cos i witness a couple do some kinky stuffs"
J: "hahaha"
J: "and W still want us to repeat the incident.. by doing demo"
J: "what lar.. "
J: "our memory still not bad mar.. can remember some details"
S: "hehehehe"
S: "it was fun."

See how important cameras and photos are? It can really help us to recall what we did in the past. We were still figuring out the missing puzzle in our mind, but gave up eventually. Our mind aint producing any good source of information. -_-

The only other thing that i can remember from the trip apart from the ferry ride and the lesbian, was the nite we played chor dai di in my fren's hse. We didnt wanna gamble any money (good kids, we are ^_^), so we decided to punish the loser by drinking a full glass of plain water.

Initially, it was fun. But after a few rounds, the punishment became a real torture! Imagine yourself with a stomach full of water, and yet u were still forced to have another glass.. as a result for being a bad player. We took turns to go to the washroom, hoping to clear the "urine bags" for further intakes.

Caution : Kids, dont try this at home!

Good times will never stay long. But we will always cherish it and make sure the memories stay forever.

Hope we could do this again more often, and next time, please remember to snap photos as a proof of what we did at that point of time.

Happy Birthday Guan Pei!

Darling, Happy Birthday!!! I bet you have been waiting for this day for so long. There is always an advantage and disadvantage for being the youngest in the group (and the latest in celebration every year). Neways, always count the blessing ya!!

As for the gift, my pleasure.

Promise

Im doing it again, gradually, without myself realising it.

I know i have promise u and myself that i shouldnt let this happen again, but i just couldnt help it. Memories flashed back in my half concious mind last nite, and it felt so real, so real until i have to pinch myself to make me awake from the imagination.

Guess i fell too deep.

The hardest thing in this world is when you love each other but knowing fate will always keep you apart.

Arcade

It was my second attempt last nite to catch King Kong in MV, but failed. Why are there still so many ppl wanted to watch this movie? I had purposely waited for a few weeks, let all the eager movie goers watch all they want. *sigh*

While waiting for the movie, A Chinese Tall Story (that is the next best choice..) to begin, we loitered around the arcade. This particular picture hunt game caught our interest. And we spent more than 10 bucks in less than half an hour.

We had to escape to the bowling center to avoid spending more on that bewitched machine... -_-

Maybe i should find the game and install it in my laptop, so that i can play it everyday without having to fork out any cash. Muahahaha :)

Can someone help me find the game for me?

Merry Christmas!

It has been a while since i last had my Saturday off. No need to wake up early for work, especially after the tiring team building we had.

My right hand is a bit swollen, due to the wood breaking session.
My smallest finger on the right hand had a tiny scratch and blue black, due to the numerous attempts to punch the bag and hit the bell.
My body ache, due to the indoor and outdoor activities we had which really gave us a good exercise.

But that doesnt stop me from celebrating this festive season. Christmas is just around the corner and closely followed by New Year.

MERRY X'MAS!!

Moving from Good to Great

I just completed a 2 days team building event @ Tropicana Golf and Country Resort today. My body is still aching as a result from the outdoor activities we had yesterday.

To be honest, i have attended the same training when i was still working in Seremban. So most of the time, i kept myself low profile. The instructor wanted me to be as passive as possible, so that others will be able to enjoy the activities fully... And so i obeyed :)

The event comes to a peak towards the end of the training, when we were all asked to break a karate wood/board. Most of the ladies were taken aback by this request, as it has never crossed their mind at all to have such a capability to do such a thing. And so there were some resentments created, somewhere out there among the crowds, along with some *ooooo*aaaahhhh*.

My broken wood. YES!!

Here, i must really give credits to all of us cos we managed to fight off our cynical minds and completed the task successfully! *give yourself a very big hand*

When I believe I can, I can!!

Dont u all dare to mess with us... hehehe...

Im pretty sure everyone enjoyed the team building very much, and hopefully, we gained at least 1% of the knowledge shared. Oh yeah, before i forget, we have our very own RSDC's statement :

We're Responsible, Speedy, Dynamic & Committed!

Cool?! :D

Below is one of the photos taken during our breakaway drinks @ Breakers, Sri Hartamas last Wed nite. Teck Sing, our Asia Pacific IT boss is here for these few days, so we kinda have a small welcoming get together.

The ladies, and it was ladies nite. So free flow for the girls!!

Ho... Ho... Ho...

Today hasnt been any productive at all. For the whole morning, i have been attending conference calls and meetings. *yawn*

Now, to clarify things up, i am not the only one having more than 1 gift, but Chiao Foon and Jan Nee too! The winner should be Jan Nee with 3 gifts, while Chiau Foon and me with 2. *tease me some more lar*hehehe*

Jeff couldnt wait any longer for the gift exchange session, so he basically sat on the reception area whole afternoon, waiting with his camera.

The Christmas tree with all the lovely gifts!

Names are randomly picked from the list, and we have to unwrap the gifts on the spot. The best gift of all should be the one for Soo. He got a G-string from his "anonymous" sender.. muahahha :D

We were already laughing our hearts out when the gift was revealed. But we never expected him to really put on the underwear on the spot, with his jeans still on!! O_0

Damn sporting, i like his attitude! No harsh feeling, but just having maximum fun!!

The gifts i got for Christmas this year!

The cute pinky pillow-alike thingy (supposed to be hanged on the door knob) is the one which can give out music. There are words written on both sides;

Babe's Boudoir ~ The babe is out on business
Babe's Boudoir ~ Babe in residence, squeeze for attention

The blue colour home wear sandals are from Jeff (thanks!!). But it is for children and he is too smart to get me a small size. Yo man, i wear size 6 ler..

See how much can my feet fit into that tiny sandal....

Next time must check out the size properly. But i seriously appreciate it. ^_^

This event wouldnt be successful without the cooperation given by everyone in the company. Kudos to all!!! Give yourself a pat on the back.

Happy Birthday Jade!

It was a night of fun and laughter, again.

We celebrated Jade's birthday on Monday nite in Kong Ming Restaurant, Sbn. This restaurant serves steam rice, instead of the normal one.

Soft and bouncy.. :D

Overall, the dishes were ok. But the most delicious one would have to be the New York cheese cake from Secret Recipe. Unfortunately, our appetite were almost ruined by Tam's skill in cutting the cake -_-

Cheese cakes were flown everywhere on the table.... tsk.. tsk.. tsk..

Here, i wanna wish u "Stay Happy and Pretty as always!". I luv u so much.

Every year, she will complain about how unfair the world is, cos by the time she reaches her birthday, it is a matter of days before she grows a year older again (starting of a new year). Guess that is the disadvantage being born at the end of the year. hehe :)

I miss the little chat we had before sleep. *muaks*

Gift exchange - Jane or Jan Nee?

The scheduled gift exchange session is getting closer, and day by day, more and more gifts are spotted under the lovely Christmas tree in our office. Those who managed to catch a look at their presents, looked really excited and happy. *weee*

I have spotted my gift last week, and in fact, i accidently pressed too hard on the poor little thing (while trying to figure out what is behind the wrapping paper), till it gave out a loud and cute music. Ooopsiee, surprise is out, and everyone in the office knew what i will be getting 2moro. -_-

And to top it all, some of them even threatened to press that poor dollie every now and then.

"hmm, i feel like hearing some music now... u know, to lighten up the atmosphere!" *walks slowly to the Christmas tree*
"dont u dare to press that doll..."
"it can sing what, cool muh"
"later the batt die, then i might get a dead doll ler"

They are just so happy trying to provoke me. These people really need a spank. ^_^

Anyhow, the best story has yet to come...

Something weird happened this morning. As i was having Tuesday blue, trying so hard to start up my engine a.k.a. brain, Jeff ran to my cube and told me that i have another gift under the tree. I went over to take a look. *half puzzled and half disbelief*

"how come Jane got 2 gifts one?"
"yea, how come? is it a mistake?"
"ooooohh, Jane got secret admirer in the office"
"no lar, maybe that person mistaken me for Jan Nee! and he/she purposely mislead ppl, and correct the name tomoro"
"poor her..."

Either it is a mistake, OR some ppl wanna play prank on me! The small gift doesnt look friendly to me... *looking suspiciously*

For the whole afternoon, all my colls were discussing who is the culprit for the unexpected gift. And as if that same person or another naughty fella wanna join in the fun, Jan Nee's gift was placed under the tree when there is no one noticing. But guess what?! We think it is some tea bags grabbed from the pantry, cincai wrapped using an A4 paper. Obviously done in a rush on the spot. Now she is really looking for the culprit! Hahaha... I am sure her gift is not that pack of tea bags.

Tomoro's gift exchange session is gonna be fun. Jeff will be the official photographer for tomoro's event, with him are his Sony 5.0 MP camera (512 MB memory) and his still new Sony Ericsson K750i (newly arrived 1GB memory from PHX).

Must promote a bit lar Jeff, rite??

Desperate

I am finally done with the Desperate Housewives Season 1. I know.. i know... i have been progressing super slow, but i tried my best. For the past few months, i have been struggling hard to clear all the movies in my laptop, and because of the lack of disk space, i have given up a lot of nice dramas shared by my colleagues.

There has been one time where my laptop had only 150 MB of space in D:\ and barely exceeding 100MB in C:\. It was the saddest moment in my laptop's life, cos it's performance was crawling like a snail, and the warning message keeps on popping up on my screen telling me to clear my stuff and create more space. :(

Now i have 3.75 GB in D:\ and 2.06 GB in C:\. Although it is not something to be proud of, but im glad i can clear this much.

My mom just borrowed 2 HK dramas from her sis. And now i hv more pressure to clear all of them too. But i only have a pair of eyes -_-

So what should i watch next? Hmm... Desperate Housewives Season 2.

Mission failed

Earlier, I was told that my dancing class was cancelled this week because the instructor, Sharon was away for training in PD. So my colls and i tried to catch a movie in MV. We didnt manage to book any tickets online, therefore we have to take the risk and eye for the uncollected reservations half an hour before the show.

The road to MV was a bit jammed up by the time we reached there. *oh shit* And the crowd at the GSC cinema was unbelievably BIG! 4 of us splitted to queue up at different lines, hoping that anyone of us could get hold of the tickets. But alas, before we managed to reach half of the queue, all the reservations have been collected. -_-

Why are these people so punctual this time? Mebbe it is fated.

Since we couldnt get to watch any movie, all of us went shopping instead. ^_^

Guys, next time we should really book the ticket first...

Everyone is crazy for crabs

I dunno if any of u guys know, but there is this famous restaurant in Taman Aman Puri, Sri Damansara, which is very crowded most of the time, especially during weekends. I have been here once with my frens, and that is how i come to know about it.

Tak Fok Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant.

This reastaurant offers cheap crabs for RM18 per kg. Maybe it is cheaper by a few bucks than other shops, but it did help to send dozens and dozens of people fighting for this. Is this what we call "kiasu"? But they do serve nice "Ham Heong" style crabs (crabs cooked with salted egg).

Well, putting that aside... my family and relatives went to have dinner here last nite. We were all aware of the crazy crowd in that particular shop, so we decided to get there earlier, like around 6.15pm. But holy cow! U should see the massive crowd waiting outside and queuing for orders.

Ppl queued and ordered and gave their mobile no, before waited to be called when their table is ready.

Are there no more seafood restaurant? >_<

We were finally seated around 7.30pm. And waited for around 20 mins for the dishes to arrive (we changed the vege twice, cos apparently, they dont have enuff supply of vege).

Next time if we really wanna come again, please be there around 5pm. Should be able to get a seat without problem....

Dont watch movies recommended by critics...

Never ever try to watch movies which are highly recommended by movie critics or those which won numerous awards for greatest film or whatsoever. I have learned my lesson.

I watched The Constant Gardener last nite. I thought i read somewhere regarding this movie, which has acclaimed quite a high number of credits in some movie critics' column. And when i checked the RottenTomatoes, it was given 7.6 out of 10 (82%). Hmm, pretty good, and so i thought...

Not only i managed to book the tickets online in just a mere 4 hours away from the showtime on a Saturday nite (a single minute of procrastination will have me sent to the doom-land), but i was given a very good seating in the cinema (exactly at the center middle). This is weird..

When the movie started screening for 10 minutes, i felt that i was cheated! It is a super slow and boring movie. And to make matter worse, i think the video guy was having a serious hand-shaky problem. Not too sure if he do it on purpose, but it definitely gave me and my fren a headache. =_="

And as we forced ourselves to continue watching it, there was this guy behind us happily fell asleep, AND SNORED!! -_- *really patah stim*

Thanks for the comments dear fellow critics... u guys have made me experienced the worst cinema session in my whole life.

Happy Burp-day, GG!

Another year has gone by. It seems like just yesterday when we celebrated your birthday and Jade's back in Seremban last year. The best of buddies as we always are, distance will never be a barrier of our friendship, a great success between a human and a pig!

But now that u have moved to KL to work, there are no more excuses to keep in touch more often and bring me out for lunches and dinner, together with Ah Meow :P

May u and her live happily ever after. *sounds like those ending in some fairy tales*

In another unrelated story, Chen came to the office to collect his payslip today. Wasnt expecting him to come all of a sudden, but was somehow happy, cos so coincidentally, i brought my camera to the office to take my team's photo. My boss in PHX wanted to see how each and everyone of us looks like. So there goes snapping...

Here is a candid photo taken in Jeff's cube, with his not-so-nice posture. Chen looking at him.

Oh, there goes another week. I need to shop for the Christmas gift this weekend...

Weak...

I am feeling weak now. My sore throat is getting better (or is it an illusion?) compared to the past few days. But why do I feel my body is heating up? And the flu virus is attacking me while my immune system's defend level is decreasing by time.

Oh no, i dont wanna fall sick again. I just recovered not too long ago.. Im currently drowning myself with lotsa water. Been going to the loo for n-times now. =_="

And fyi, there are already 2 gifts under the Christmas tree! Wow, those people are fast. I have yet to decide what to buy for my "recipient". Went to MV for lunch yesterday, but still didnt manage to get anything.

The entourage to MV (Jeff is the cameraman).

By the way, Subway is opening today at Wisma UOA, and they are offering promotions. Me and my colleagues will go there today and try it out.

Happy Birthday Clive!

This is another happy note for a dear fren of mine. Turning 26 eh.. ;P

Selamat hari jadi,
Selamat hari jadi,
Selamat hari jadi, oh kawanku,
Selamat hari jadi!!!

Since i have given u the english version this afternoon, a different version will make it sound special, rite? *okay, dont vomit, give face a bit ler*

Have u ever wonder what is the difference between Hari Jadi and Hari Lahir? Why didnt they sing Selamat Hari Lahir (translated as Happy Birthday), instead of Selamat Hari Jadi (translated as Happy Transformed-day)? *think hard but gave up eventually*

As i was writing this, some of my colleagues are happily having lobster @ Lobsterman in SS2. They are celebrating the success of the ProChannel Stabilization project, finally.

So nice...

YES!

Yes, u heard me. The Year End Sale has officially started last Fri, nationwide. Heaps of ppl were seen shopping in all the major shopping complexes all around the city centre. And i was one of them...

I didnt shop that much though, as i am not well trained to squeeze with those aunties to fight for a small fitting room. Nor was i experienced enuff to dig into those mountains of clothes in the bin to get the best bargain (ask Jan Nee and she will agree whole heartedly that i failed) -_-

Anyhow, the weekend was still enjoyable. I met up with Peky and Bean during their trip down to KL for Daniel & Adeline's wedding. Bean is still as skinny as ever, i guess he will have to take some advices from Chee Wei who has managed to build up his muscles over the past one year. Nothing is impossible, whenever there is a will, there is a way!

Peky and Bean @ Alexis Bar on Sat nite.

Jason Lo was jamming there with his band. The music was so loud til we cant even hear ourselves, hence we decided to leave early...

Sunday's lunch @ San Francisco Steakhouse was rather special as we had Shin around. I havent seen him for more than a year, but it is still a lot better than Peky. She havent seen his face eversince we graduated almost 3 years ago... howz that??!! He is a busy busy man... no denial.

Shin had put in a lot of effort to keep his eyes wide open :)

As i was about to head home, there was this fashion show @ Centre Court, Mid Valley that caught my eyes. Amber Chia was one of the models featuring Topshop apparels. *snap*snap*

Nice deco @ Mid Valley.

She is really an elegant woman and a model with her own characteristic. Darn, i love the way she represents herself with full of confidence. And there is this cute guy on the catwalk too.. there are quite a number of young girls that day who were swept off their feet by his charming smile.

He wasnt very natural while doing the modelling thingy.. newbie i guess..

Tiring day, cos i rushed to KLCC after that. >_<

The season is here!

Jingle bell, jingle bell,
Jingle all the way...

It is the time of the year again! Oh boy, i am really in the mood for celebration *grinning excitedly*

For the past few days, me and my colleagues have been scouting for Christmas decorative items in several shopping malls. Talk about shopping man, we, the girls know best! ;)

It all started when we managed to convince our boss to get a Christmas tree in the office (after some small discussions among ourselves *hehe*). There were never any celebrations nor decorations done previously, so this year, we thought of giving it a shot.

We got the tree and most of the ornaments @ Living Cabin in MV. There are lotsa beautiful stuffs on the shelves which made us really tempted, but we sorta have a budget to follow. *bye pretty ones* -_-

And finally today, we had the tree all set up nicely, with the lights blinking and twinkling proudly *check out the pics*

An interesting chat while we are admiring the tree :

"How come there are no red balls on the tree?" - referring to the ornaments, okie ^_^
"This is nice what.."
"Why only gold and silver? Red prettier.."
"Erm, because it aligns with the theme, Silver and Gold?"
"Says who? Why these two colours??"
"Says the organizer!"
"..."

Red is kinda outdated wei... :Þ

Everyone is already so excited and looking forward to the gift exchange session.

"I want an Apple IPOD please!" - someone expressing out their wishlist
"Okie, i will give u...
APPLE = apple satu biji
I = MATA kucing satu biji
POD = pasu bunga"

Muahaha.. ROTFLMAO!! This is the most creative answer i have seen so far. Memang joker budak ini...

In the past, all the kids would be behaving surprisingly good so that they will get a present from the Santa Clause. But now, all the adults will be behaving shockingly NAUGHTY and KINKY to give others a present in this jolly celebration.

How this world has changed! *gulp*

p/s: Sorry ya Jeff, curi your photo. But it's nice, so im sure u wont mind me putting it in here :D

Sayonara Louis!

The last farewell luncheon of the year (hopefully). This time around, we have it in Jack's Place @ 1Utama. I have eaten in this restaurant once, but not here, in Singapore with SK.

Entrance..

Mr. Big (dai kao ~ his current nickname) concentrating on the menu.. he is planning to whack kao kao.

Here are some of the food we tried. The escargos are not nice.. according to Louis. So, it is a no-no next time.

Overall, food ok. But some complained that it's not enuff for them to fill their stomach. Guess the portion is aint that big for the big eaters.

Wish u all the best, and hope that with u earning big bucks soon, must come back here to give us a BIG TREAT! :)

Snow.Wolf.Lake

It was a blast!

Jackie is totally awesome. He can sing, act, and combine the two skill together for a musical performance. No wonder he was once known as the greatest of the "4 Canto-Pop Kings" in the entertainment industry during the 90's. As for Nadia Chan and Evonne Hsu, not superb enough. I think the other 2 ladies in the Cantonese version can do much better. -_-

Initially, I was so scared that i couldnt make it on time for the event cos my fren was late. But lady luck was definitely shining at our side. The traffic was smooth that night, which is rarely seen if there is any concert being held. *thank goodness* And there were ample of parking space for you to choose from.

Having a binocular in a concert like this is an added advantage. I can see their faces very clearly, full of expressions as they acted along with the music. It brought up the entire event to another greater level, trust me!

We are not supposed to bring in any cameras, but i managed to secretly hide one in my pocket. :) Didnt take much though, only a few shots from the last scene, just before they close the curtain.

Wu and Suet lived happily ever after...

The 4 prison guards while Wu was held in the dungeon. Cute dance...

Lead actor and actresses coming out one by one..

The amazing crew!

Check out the fans down the stage.

Went to Steven's Corner for supper before going home. First time going there eversince they renovated their shop in Pandan Indah. Damn crowded wei.. *burp*

Only an undying love can become a legend

Male talk

I have no mood to work today. Am practically counting the time for tonite's Snow Wolf Lake's musical performance. Hehe..

Okie, let's see what can i blab about while waiting to leave office. Ah-ha.

Oh, i have one. There is this new guy in our office recently, who is :

"Quite cute" ~ according to my boss >_<
"Leng chai" ~ according to a male colleague, B *ehem*
"Muscular" ~ from another male colleague, D :O

It wasnt really a big hoo-haa initially. But then yesterday while having lunch, this coll of mine kept on praising him for being handsome. =_="

Here is an example of the scenario
A asked B to pass the pot of tea for refill in her cup.
As B was about to do so, in a slow mo.. C offered A another cup of tea which is apparently an extra one.
C : "Do u wanna take this one? It's not so hot."
A : "Okie!"
B : "See, leng chai got advantages. People would rather take a small cup rather than having the whole pot of tea."

I have always thought that guys will be too egoistic to admit about these kind of stuff. U know, to say that someone else is more leng chai or better than themselves. Actually there is nothing wrong about this. I am totally ok about it.

Then the gay topic came up. I realized that, guys are becoming more open on what they are today and what they want to achieve in life. In fact, I have a few gay frens, which they have openly admit without any doubt or shame. I dont discriminate them, they are still my frens.

But some are too extremely open until ... it was rather hard to accept!

Lately, the news about Jessie Chung, our very own transvestite (Malaysian version of Harisu) made headlines in the major newspapers. 'Her/his' wedding ceremony (although it is not legal in Malaysian law), costs more than a million bucks. *jaws dropped*

Will Harisu and Jessie Chung encourage more people to follow their path? Is this something we want to see more in the future?

Will you care if your partner once shared the same gender as u? Can u take it easily and let the bygones be bygones?

Something for you to ponder tonite.

Service Banquet 2005

I was down with fever few days ago. My immune system broke down finally, due to the lack of sleep for the previous few weeks, over-stressed, over-loaded, and over-everything. *_*

Almost fully recovered now, thanks to all the good wishes. Hopefully, I will start kicking a** in no time! :)

*********

For the 2nd consecutive years, i was invited to become the commitee of my company's Service Banquet event, which was held @ IOI Marriot Hotel in Putrajaya last Sunday. It is a nite where we pay respect and express our gratitude for those who has been loyal and went thru the hard times with the company for the past years.

The event lasted for 7 hours.

The usherettes for the nite (there are more).

Until now, i am still amazed at how loyal these people are. I cannot imagine myself being in the same company for more than 10 years, i just dunno how i can pull it thru. Memang respect these people! -_-

Abit lazy to post more photos. My eyes are so heavy now.. ZZZzzzzzzzzzz...

Happy Birthday Sok Yee and Loo!

We have been frens for almost 13 years. More than the amount of fingers on my both hands.

Can u imagine how long that is? They said it is very hard to maintain a frenship, but yet, we managed to make it until this far. *grin*

We are still very much close to each other, hanging out almost every weekend, and going to any parties and outings together.

Happy Birthday Sok Yee! Happy "Early" Birthday Loo! (yours falls on 19th, but im sure u dont mind rite?)

Luv u guys. Sorry to have missed ur partay last Sun.

Run My Friend Run ...

He used to be our poet when he was still here. He entertained us with all his silly jokes and stories from his competition.

When shall we meet again?

p/s: *poem below quoted from my ex-coll, Mr Flying Pig*

~ Run my friend run, when your tear had dried and let the sweat drop for you.
~ Run my friend run, when your sound had lost and let your breath cry for you.
~ Run my friend run, when your heart can’t hold the pain and let your steps ease for you.
~ Run my friend run, when your hope is gone and let every round is a tomorrow for you.
~ Run my friend run, when your body is cold and let your blood warm for you.
~ Run my friend run, when your courage is lost and let the wind protect you.

Happily ever after!

I had a busy weekend back in Ipoh. Attended my once "rumoured" cousin's wedding with my mom.

Well, dont be so shocked and surprised. Actually, it was just some jokes started by some kids, and my family sort of go along with it. It is still sound so funny when i think about it now, when im all grown up. Kids...

At the wedding reception, I dont really know anyone else there, other than my relatives, so i entertained myself by taking photos, eating and drinking! Lotsa beers and red wines served post-dinner @ my aunt's hse.. *aaaahhhhh*

No, dont worry, i am not an alchoholic. We should relax ourselves once in a while :)

At the end of the nite, the bride groom was knocked out totally. He was babbling nonsense, thanks to his bunch of good frens who came all the way back to Ipoh from KL, and us, the *nice* cousins. Hehe :P

My cousin and his wife.

The bride and bridegroom pouring the wine beautifully...

Sean, may God bless u with a lot of cute babies soon!

Specifically dedicated to Jessica (whose birthday falls on today), Sock Hui (3rd November) and Eric (24th November).

We had our boss' favourite cakes, Tiramisu from SuChan Deli (again). But it was indeed delicious, so we wouldnt mind eating it for a few more times :)

Wish u guys all the best!

p/s : something rare and funny happened today at the badminton court during our normal weekly exercise. Check out Jeff's blog for more details.

Macro shot

I am fascinated by these macro shots from some avid photographers on the internet. Apparently, a fren of mine is one of them, and he encouraged me to learn and brush up on my skill. Eventually, i can be one of them too. *dream dream dream*

I am gonna try it myself at home tonite. Or soon.... :P

W800i, the Walkman Phone

It's the latest and hottest phone in town, and almost everyone is talking about it. Only by Sony Ericsson.

And my brother has added it to his collection of cool gadgets. That lucky dude! -_-

Historic Malacca

It was the first day of Raya, the road in the city and Seremban highway were as quiet as it can be. I have never experience such a smooth traffic before, ever since i transferred back here to work in Damansara.

The sky is clear, and it is the perfect timing for a short trip. *woot*

We managed to reach the historic Malacca earlier than we have expected, although we came out thru the wrong exit from the highway. We took the Alor Gajah exit instead of Ayer Keroh, oh well, a good Alor Gajah visit then...

First off, we went straight to the infamous chicken rice ball restaurant called Chop Chung Wah. We were really taken aback by the amount of people waiting inside and outside the shop. We have to really fight for a place to eat... :O

The diners waiting to be seated.

Chicken Rice Ball *slurps*

By the time we finished our meal, there were more people queuing up outside the shop, waiting to be served (more civilized now). And the Jonker Walk was so crowded that it looked like a troop of ants swarming down the street. Pretty scary u know!

We wanted to visit the Baba & Nyonya Museum, but sadly, it was closed due to the public holidays :(

How can we find such a view in KL?

Views of human everywhere...

A Famosa.

After a long walk under the hot sun, we treat ourselves with yet another Malacca's famous food, cendol and egg tart.

Baba Cendol.

Tart & Tart Bakery.

Sea view @ the Portugese Settlement and Pantai Klebang was really great. It felt so refreshing and relax as the sea breeze softly brushing our faces...

Thanks to Au, Lawrence and Wen Ping. Nice to know u guys. (Hopefully i got your names correctly spelled).

What will u do?

What will u do, if...

u were misunderstood?
u were to be blamed for something that u've never done?
u were shut off without having a chance to defend urself?
u were deny any rights to correct the circumstances?

Never let people take you for granted.

Something to be learned today.

Cheese and chocolate steamboat

My mom took the 5am flight to Australia this morning. How i wish i could also go on holidays during this festive season. Me and my frens are out of ideas on where to go, everywhere also crowded, i dont wanna go and squeeze with the people like a sandwich girl... *sigh*

Out of desperation to go somewhere during a rainy season, we went to have Cheese and Chocolate "steamboat" @ Fondue House in Desa Seri Hartamas. I have heard about this interesting food a while ago from my colleague, and i guess it is about time to give it a try.

This business card will entitle u to a 10% discounts.

Garlic cheese served with chicken fillet, bread and crackers.

Whisky chocolate served with exotic fruits.

Overall, the price is a bit costly for the amount of food that u are getting. But i have never tried dipping food in a melted cheese nor chocolate before, so for me, it was rather enjoyable. No harm trying, but not recommended for those big eaters!! :D

After the super fattening meal, we felt abit guilty, so we went to Taman Tasik Permaisuri in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras for a short walk. The playground is like a paradise to any children on earth! I felt like i've went back to my early days...

The pink ladies ;)

I will be coming here again soon.
