The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code movie has erupted a lot of anger among Christians lately. The plot of the movie, adapted by Ron Howard from Dan Brown's worldwide best seller, makes the case that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had children with her.

This has generated mixed responses from church leaders overseas. For some, it is an occasion to do evangelism and to further teach about the deity and humanity of Christ. For others, it is an occasion to launch vociferous protests. Yet, there are some within church leadership for whom the movie has put them into an introspection concerning the effectiveness of their communication of the Christian Gospel in increasingly secular and pluralistic cultures.

There are calls for boycott of the movie, or even banning the movie from being screened in their country. Seriously a lot of dramas going on.

Anyway, i guess a loyal Christian should know what is the real truth and what is not. A fiction is just a fiction.

Yesterday, a fren sent me a link to this site which has a cartoon clip that tries to straighten the truth. Check it out.
