Darth Plagueis

He was the Sith Lord to whom Darth Sidious was apprenticed. However Sidious betrayed Plagueis (standard practice among the Sith) and killed him in his sleep, thus becoming the Sith master himself. Plagueis is sometimes referred to as "Darth Plagueis the Wise," as he found a way to manipulate midi-clorians to prevent death.

Sidious' explanation to Anakin of Plagueis was as follows:

It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life ... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying.

He became so powerful . . . the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. (smiles) Plagueis never saw it coming. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.

That is a lil part from Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith. The whole process of getting the movie tickets was really a hassle. All cinemas were fully booked for the first few days, and when i told my frens that i managed to book the tickets on Sun nite, they were amazed! I became the instant lord of the day, haha :D

Frankly speaking, the movie is not up to my expectations. After all the major publicity and money-consuming advertisement, i certainly expect more than that! It was like dragging a bit in the middle, with alot of talking. Maybe diff people have diff taste, but i still prefer LOTR.
