OSIM iMedic-PRO

I just came out from a 1-1 session with my new boss when I received a call from my fren. We were planning to catch a movie together but she had another plan on her mind. We are going to catch Louis Ku @ KLCC in conjuction of the OSIM iMedic PRO promotion.

I didnt know he was in town, so i was kinda excited. The last time i saw him was when he was in Malaysia to promote his Chinese New Year's movie ("Liku Liku San Nin Choy"). At that time, we went superbly early just to get to the front row and one of my frens even went up the stage to play a game with him. That was the unforgettable experience.

This time around, we couldnt get the front spot. His fans were already occupying all the nice spot that could catch his face around the stage. While waiting for him to show up, we tried the newly introduced massage chair which is available for testing.

Gosh..

He is as good looking and macho as always. Even an aunty who stood beside me drools over him.
"He is really handsome.. really handsome..."
"....."

We shopped for a while in Isetan to get a birthday pressie for another birthday boy. Did u know that Parkson @ KLCC has gone thru a round of reno? Now, it is so high class! All branded stuff ok, no wonder there isnt many ppl in there. I couldnt afford getting anything there, oh boy.

By the time we left the shopping mall, we were already starving. So we went to eat the famous wan tan mee along Jln Sungai Besi. I heard Jeff talked about this stall before, and he said it was just so-so only. But when i was there, i realized it wasnt the same stall that he was mentioning about. I remembered he said the stall he went to was Hung Kei.. am i right?

Wan Tan Mee Sg. Besi

This stall has been very famous since dunno when. I asked my fren over and over again if this is the correct stall, and he said yes. I dunno what time the stall closes but my fren once ate here at 3am in the morning. Can u believe that? Jeff, maybe u went to the wrong stall?

Updates : I just checked and realized that it was 2 different stalls after all. The one that Jeff went to is located at Jalan Loke Yew, which is claimed as expensive by most of the ppl who went to eat there before. Anyhow, i have only heard of the Jalan Sg. Besi one, and not the Jalan Loke Yew one. :P It is always good to know that there are so many well known wan tan mee stalls in KL. Nice or not, is another story and depending on each individual.

Chicken leg mee, Char siew & wan tan mee, Wild boar curry mee and vegetables.

That was the first time since uni that i had my "dinner" so late at night. But it was worth the extra pounds, cos the wan tan mee is really yummy. One of the reason why is, the noodle is made from eggs and not flour. Therefore, it is very tangy. More over, it is mixed with char siew's gravy (roast pork). *slurps*

There are 3 sizes of servings; small, medium and large. The price range from RM3.50 to RM4.50 for small, depending on what type of wan tan mee that u are ordering. We tried the sui kao (dumpling) too, but it is not so nice. The meat wrapped inside is too little but it cost RM0.80 each. Not a good bargain.

Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Wan Tan Mee Sg. Besi
Location : By the road side of Sg. Besi, right after the Nichi Fashion City shop.
Note : Parking is limited.

my5sen: i dont think rm3.50 per plate can be considered as expensive.

ribena: yeah, i cant ask for more :)

ellewy: not Leo Ku, it is Louis Ku. Ku Tin Lok and not Ku Kui Kei! u got it all mixed up..

laymank: well, they have all the cleaners ready by the stage i guess. :P

No one fell, but i think some of the girls became crazy and needed some medical attention.. :D

eddy: i remembered i was telling u Louis Ku, not Leo Ku. another wan tan mee freak. U shud try the one in sbn. really good.

jade: hmm, of cos lar, teh one in sbn is ur favourite. i love that yao choy sam too!

but i think this one also not bad lar. also use char siew gravy..

i guess its bcoz of the xtras added in like the chicken leg and also the mee portion was rather smallish.. anyways, which other shop nowadays dun 'cut' their portions one..

Jane said...

excuse me, but u seemed to be contradicting urself. i think it is almost just the same portion u r getting elsewhere.

anyways, i guess diff ppl has diff perspective.

laymank: im more than willing to bring u guys there. BUT, when and will u wanna go down?

sa: nope, im not getting the chair. too expensive for me. prolly i will just look at the pics and imagine myself being massage...

laymank said...

hmmm... i don't see why not?

laymank: how i know. u guys might not wanna go down sbn just for the sake of a plate of wan tan mee. i obviously dont mind, cos i have a bunch of frens there to look up to!
