Discover the Pulau Ketam!
It was supposed to be a good long sleep like a normal weekend, but instead, i was up at 6.30am. As i were walking to the bathroom to brush my teeth, i couldnt even open my eyes bigger than a 20 cents coin. My fren picked me up around 7am on a "sleepy" Sunday morning, and we headed to Klang in 2 cars to have Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. Frankly speaking, this is the 1st time i have such a heavy and fattening meal for breakfast. How could anyone eat this when the stomach barely functioning 100%?? These Klang folks are really weird.
*slurps*
One of my frens brought us to this one stall which was claimed by him as "nice". Nah, I dont think so. The Bak Kut Teh's soup was not up to par, too tawar ler. And they gave us a lot of fat meat. *yukks* Me, who dislikes fat fat meat, was left with nothing much to eat other than the mushrooms, veges and "yao cha kwai". I still prefer the other shops where my ex-cosmates brought me when we were on our way to visit the fireflies in Kuala Selangor a few months back.
See how FAT is that?? *pui*pui*
After resting for a while, in order to avoid anyone feeling to puke in the speed boat, we proceed to the jetty. Here we come Pulau Ketam! We surely made a lot of noises in the boat, hopefully no one was annoyed by us. :P
It was showing Child Play 4 (a super horror movie, about some killer dolls) in the boat. But we couldnt finish the whole movie as it only took us 45 mins to reach the destination. -_-
Welcome to Pulau Ketam!
Pulau Ketam reminds me of Kukup, Johor. They are both fishing villages with lotsa houses built on water by using big wooden branches or sticks or whatever u wanna call them. Basically, we walked, walked and walked; snaped, snaped and snaped; looked, looked and looked; and then start the whole cycle again. It was damn hot u know. The sun was killing us all! Luckily i was armed with hat, sunglasses and an umbrella. It's very obvious that we are from the city! *kekeke*
Fisherman's boats.
I realized there are a lot of Initial-D wannabe on the island! Although given only a bicycle, it's powered by a small engine, hence, there's no need to paddle like old times. And for ur information, their road is very narrow and bumpy, but they can still make a cornering with 100km/h (okay, mebbe i was just exaggerating, but they are really fast). Whenever we heard any bikes coming, we threw ourselves on the left and right, making way for these F1 racers. Dangerous!
After more than an hour of walking, we decided to sit down and rest in a restaurant, have some chilled drinks and local food. Pulau Ketam is famous for its la-la omelette, i was told. *massage feet*
The famous la-la omelette... *yummy*
Loo, Ji Ric, Jane, Sok Yee, Wen Hui, Chee Yee and Lai Yeen @ the Pulau Ketam jetty.
Poor Kai Yan is not in the pic cos he's the camera man of the day.
The trip ended with a round of sight seeing at Port Klang. Finally, we went to Halo Cafe in South City Plaza to celebrate Kai Yan's birthday, which falls on 3rd of Aug (coming Wed). Actually, that is the purpose of the whole trip since morning. But somehow, we can only cut the cake in a more appropriate place like this mar, rite? :P
Guess what, i've been out for more than 12 hours. *hands waving* Kai Yan, u better be grateful for what we have done for your birthday. We never really did anything like this before. ;)
I wanted to post his pic taken in the cafe with his cake, but i havent get the photos from Ji Ric's camera. His PC broke down. *duh* Will do that as soon as i got them. :)
Anyway, Happy Birthday 2 u again and wish that all ur dreams will come true soon! ^_^
