There are a lot of things going on regarding our office relocation recently, since the last couple of weeks. Engaging with the interior designers, coming up with our requirements, finalizing the office design and dealing with the logistic stuffs. It was NOT EASY, i tell u. My boss has been scratching his head and draining his brain everyday, im worried for him that he will fall sick eventually.
And yes, he did. So now he sounded very sexy with his "rough" voice. Poor him. ^_^
But the renovation is in progress now, finally. I saw the mock up of our new cubes yesterday at the office site. It was great, looks light and techy. Definitely different from our current dull look. I like it, cos i was one of them who chose the color in the first place :)
So hopefully no more major hiccups as we go along. More delay will cause an impact on our schedule to move in by the end of July. *pray*
By the way, here are some pics from one of the BI project's celebration lunch @ Rakuzen, Hartamas Shopping Center on Thursday. The food was good, but the SERVICE WAS REALLY BAD!
Initially, i called them and reserved for 9 person. But we ended up with 10. I figured i dont have to call them again cos it was just one person extra and adding one more chair to the table shouldnt be an issue.
Oh, i was so wrong. They gave us a hard time for not reserving for 10 person. And at one point, he told us that they dont have anymore place to accommodate 10 person cos they have pre-arranged everything. What kind of service is this?
Cut off all the conversations in between, we were finally allowed to sit at our "supposed" reserved room. Obviously, there was only 9 chairs with a long table. A small kid would also know that we can fit an extra chair. I just dont understand why they were so hesitant to do that. Maybe they dont have enuff chair? (FYI, the extra chair that we've got is not as nice as the "reserved" chair.)
Not only that, u better tell the waiter/waitress what you might be needing in advance (eg. soy sauce, wasabi, etc) cos u wont be able to get their attention after your food is served. Again, they might be short of staff (as well) cos apparently, the restaurant is full.

Sushi & Tempura set? *holding two sets with his hand*Person A: "One here.."Person B: "One here too.." *trying to clear the table for him to put the food*Waiter: "Xcuse me, this tray is very heavy ok!"All of us: "...."OK, he has got to be taught of good serving manners. If the tray is very heavy, why dont you just walk two rounds and bring one tray each time? U shouldnt yell at your customer, for god's sake. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
