Good bye Shiau Chen!

Today is a very special day, the last day of work for my colleague, Shiau Chen. She will be leaving us to join another company, to embark a better career. Although i havent been knowing her for a long time, but i knew for sure that she is a very intelligent and smart lady. She is witty and mischievious most of the times and having her in the group is indeed the greatest things of all. We had uncountable laughs, sweet memories and precious moments. Thanks for everything. I wish u all the best in ur future endeavors!

This is what i got from her this morning which i found it quite useful, "Test ur Ingrish". Check it out and see how good is ur 'Ingrish' - http://www.blogthings.com/englishcutthemustardquiz/ ... Dont be too disappointed if the result is not too good. U alwiz have a fren here.. welcome to the club! :)

Went for dinner in 'wai sek kai' in Pudu @ nite. I havent been there since primary school. My dad used to bring us there to have sup kambing for supper *yummy, yummy* Eversince he passed away 8 years ago, we never stepped our feet on the street at nite anymore. I really miss him alot..

The seven of us then raided the Wow Wow Cafe @ Pandan Perdana. Seeing all these musical talented people performing on stage made me felt the urge to get myself equipped with some musical intrument skills. I have alwiz wanted to learn piano when i was small, but the cost is too much to bear for my family because i would need a piano @ home to practice and that is totally out of the budget at all. So, i have to be contented with the music club i joined in school, playing 'angklung' (in case u didnt know, it is a traditional malay musical instrument made out of wood), and clusternet. Now that i am working and earning my own paychecks, maybe i can get something planned.. ;P

Sales..sales...$$...$$

I wasnt working today, and when i told everyone about me taking leave today, they were SHOCKED! All of them, i seriously meant ALL, had the same reaction.

"oh my gosh, u purposely take leave to go for the Isetan pre sales??" *looking disbelief*

Okie, let me clarify this once and for all. I did not have any intention to take a day off becos of the pre sales! Got some credit card matters to be taken care of lar. Yup, u got it rite, me full of debts, 'hutang keliling pinggang'. kekeke.... who doesnt?? i got to feed the car, feed myself, feed my mom... what else.. *trying to search for reasons for having debts*

After that, yeah, i did go shooping in Isetan KLCC today.. BUT..BUT.. there is a but. It was purely becos i was in that area, and since i am free.. why not?? *grins* After all, it is having sales, and i havent been shopping for quite some time, and i have 20 bucks worth of voucher to be spent before it expire in June. So many good reasons for me to go up to the mall and start to keep my hands and eyes bz. :D

This morning when i stepped my feet in Isetan, only i realized Isetan got so many members.. and it seems like all of them are so damn free! Arent they supposed to be working?? Today is Friday man, are they taking leave becos of this (just like what they all thought i was doing) or they are some loaded people, no need to work one ar?? If u were there, and if i knew u, there is a very high possibility that i would not have met u, even though we are at the same floor. Super super super crowded.... want proof? check out the queue at the cash counter! The whole idea of having to wait for ages just to pay for a single cheap blouse is just nonsense. But u know what, i did. When u found something tat u like, u will do ANYTHING to have it with u... including standing there waiting like an idiotic fella.

I 'll be back working tomorrow. Another sien and turn off day. Every saturday morning, i am just so hesitated to wake up and head to the office, cos everyone else is holiday-ing, and we have to work. why.. why..?? Working in an odd tuesday to saturday schedule is no fun at all. I have been kicked out in most of my fren's list dy cos i wont be available during the day. *sob*sob*

A group of my colleagues in Sbn went to HK last week. I was supposed to join them, but i couldnt find a partner at the very last minute, so.. nvm. Maybe i'll save the $$ for another trip. They showed me their photos, and i can know that they are having a good time. but no souvenirs for me. :( Hear say, they met a few HK actresses and actors in Lan Kwai Fong. Cool!

Check out their new 'hairstyle'. Super poser! *vomit*

Get well soon Lisa!

Lisa is my fren fly's pet dog. Heard from her that the dog was ran over by a neighbour's car and suffered from bones crashed. Hope she can recover soon after seeing the vet. Geez, it is so saddening, but fly was complaining that she couldnt cry at all for what that has happened. I guess not all people are born to cry easily. U r not cold blooded, just that u havent seem to find something rite to trigger the tears. I bet u r better off this way than having tears flow down ur cheeks most of the time. I am one good example. Everytime i see any sad or touching movies, i just couldnt help myself. The tears just naturally squeeze out from any pores/holes in my eyes. They say "u r too emotional lar.. like that also cry. what happen if u break up with ur bf?" Well, i dont wanna think about it..

Talking about pet, i went to the Ikano's Pet Shop the other day when a fren came all the way from Singapore to meet me up. He is some sort of animal lover, so me and my frens decided to bring him there. The doggies r so damn cute, i simply couldnt resist patting them. I seriously hope i could have a pet dog one day (my mom wont let me, cos she knows that i couldnt take care of one, let alone washing their 'outputs'). Then i have a great idea.. i can work part time in the pet shop! ahha!! That solves the urge of having a pet and not able to provide space and care for them. In fact, there's one guy working there asked me whether i would like to join them permanently.

Jane : "do u take part timers?"
Young guy : "currently the part time position are not available, what about full time?"
Jane : "i cant, i have a permanent job dy" :(
Young guy : "it is gonna be fun working here. maybe u would wanna consider changing fields?"
Jane : "errr.. i dont think so. but do let me know if there is any part time post available in the future.." *eyes blinking innocently*

Nah, even if they take me in also, Ikano is too far from my house. Another reason for me to give up.

Wanna become the next Malaysian Idol??

Woke up at 11am yesterday. My bro was already complaining about it as he needed me to help him fill up his income tax form. Lucky him, all the errors that i made while filling up my own form will never happen in his case. I guess this is the advantage of submitting at the last minute. Ooops, i never ask anyone to do the same thing. Dont quote me :)

Anyway, do u know that we are advised to make a photocopy of our form and submit them in person at the collection center?? Then we are supposed to ask the officer to stamp the photocopy document for acknowledgement that they have received it successfully! WTH! Why didn't they tell us earlier about this? I have already sent the stupid form thru snail mail by the time i knew it. jialat! No guarantee that the form sent will be received by the LHDN folks. The penalty will still be on u if it is lost. But there is no way we can know if it reached safe and sound or not, cos there will be no J Form sent back to us in return anymore. Great system! I wonder who proposed this..

Me and my bro headed off to 1U after that. He is meeting up with his uni fren while i just tumpang-ing his car to go to that area. My coll picked me up from there to Redbox @ The Curve. Guess what! We booked the room for 10 person from 3pm to 6pm initially, but since there aren't many people that day, they have extended our session till 9pm, without any extra charges! Cool.. 6 hours of non-stop yelling session.

Jan Nee, Jane, Lee Shin, Tee Hui, Wei Leng

Choo, Hoe Kheng, Louis, Jeff

*i was happily taking up the mic to sing*
"u again??"
"what, we are here to sing rite?"
"how many songs have u sang, har??"
"eh... 5??"
"what??!!! it is uncountable dy!! now we know the real u... next time dont wanna ask u to go karaoke lor."
"i ask u guys to select the songs, but all dont want.. then i choose and select MY songs lor. all those songs i chose everyone know how to sing one.. so can sing 2gether what" *making one cent look*
"gosh... can someone pls press the stop button to skip the song!!!"
"fine, then i select some songs for u guys to sing.. i wont be singing.... ok gua.."
"how u know we wanna sing it? let us pick on our own"
"then no one wanna take the remote and choose... so we all just sit still and see the advertisement lar..."
"hahahhaha!!"

We were already contented and happily singing and screwing up the songs, when we suddenly found out that they have extended our session till 11pm too. Oh. My. Gosh. By 9.30pm, we were dropped dead, and decided to get out of the room while we still can. I am considered lucky to have my voice still in good condition today.

Coconut House

Sounds familiar? Now, don't get confused, it is not the seafood restaurant in Teluk Gong! That one is called Coconut Flower.

Coconut House is a bungalow-turned-restaurant place which served nice italian food. Yup, yup... spaghetti, pasta, pizza and so much more. In fact, it is well known for its woodfire baked pizzas. Too bad i forgot to bring my camera along, there is this one big igloo-like thing, where they put all their special recipe pizzas in the hole at the middle. Firewoods were placed at the bottom to keep the fire burning.. flaming hot! I found one pic from the net which looks roughly the same like the one i saw that nite.

There was an exhibition at the top floor of the bungalow restaurant.

"We are third year's student from Dasein Academy of Art. We are now working on our final year project and we have set up a brand called HUMBARANG for this project. The name HUMBARANG is developed from Cantonese language which means EVERYTHING and it represents everything that we throw daily which might be useful. Therefore, we decided to recycle them as some useful products. Our project is aimed to increase the awareness among the nation and change their perceptions about recycle with our creative thoughts." - www.dasein.edu.my/~Humbarang

Next, went to Halo Cafe @ The Curve. Wow, it was seriously crowded. We can hardly talk as the electronic organ was way TOO LOUD! And we are not the only group feeling that way, there was this group of youngster submitted a paper on stage (supposedly to write ur dedications) asking them to slow down the volume. kekeke .. shame on u LeeHom wannabe!

Swimming class has been cancelled again due to the rainy weather!! And so is next week (so called Labour Day)!! Oh geeez, i am getting super sien with the supposed 4 months course. It has been dragged for more than a year dy... makes me wonder how the instructor can survive with the money we paid since last year. Everyone was so amazed when i tell them that i am STILL learning... *jaws dropped* :(

Since the class was cancelled, so i was free for the evening. Went to Sg Wang to get my contacts and met up with a few of my Seremban frens in Low Yatt. It was really great seeing them again after so long. Nice to meet u, Ah Yan. Please advice Daniel to cut down on his ciggies. Not good for his health, he is too addicted..

Daniel : "so where shall we go next?"
Jane : "erm... what do u suggest? there is coffee bean, secret recipe, starbucks......" *interrupted by daniel*
Daniel : "which one got aircond and allows smoking!!??"
Jane : "u r helpless man, for god's sake!! u r gonna die of lungs cancer one day.."
Daniel : *turn away and keep on searching for smoking allowed yumcha spot*
****speechless****

Fireflies under the moonlight

I need a break! Yeah, u heard me. I have been working like a maniac since CNY. Must slow down a bit, *breathe in.. breathe out*

Ooh yea, I went to KS (Kuala Selangor) with some of my ex-coursemates (keong, ykit, sangkim, sook hwooi) on that awaited public holiday. Met them up in Klang for a late bak-kut-teh luncheon *yummy-yummy* before proceeding with our long journey. Sorry guys for all the trouble fetching me up from home. My bro took away my only transport... :(

It was a nice trip, keong and ykit are serious jokers. We laughed our lungs out, man, i think my stomach will have problems one day, full of unnecessary air. keke.. Had seafood dinner, went up Bukit Malawati and of cos, we checked out the fireflies. But too bad, it was the 13th day of the Chinese Lunar calendar, so the moon was damn bright. Not a good timing.. not so pretty. *sigh*

Keong : "next time lar... sure got chance one"
Jane : "yeah rite... hear first lar"
Keong : "but maybe not, the mosquitoes are killing me!"
Jane : "see!! see!!"

so fly, dont worry, the next time we are going (if we really are), i am sure to include u ya!! Will be a good coordinator, i promise :-P
