Difference between Girls and Matured Women

This is an interesting "old" forwarded email that i've got from a fren. I'll share it with you people here...

For all the girls out there. This maybe a good read for you to prepare urself of being a 'matured women'....

Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans.

Matured women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits

Girls want to control the man in their life.

Matured women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling.

Girls check you for not calling them.

Matured women are too busy to realize you hadn't.

Girls are afraid to be alone.

Matured women revel in it-using it as a time for personal growth.

Girls ignore the good guys.

Matured women ignore the bad guys.

Girls make you come home.

Matured women make you want to come home.

Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.

Matured women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man.

Girls try to monopolize all their man's time ( I.e., don't want him hanging with his friends).

Matured women realize that a lil' bit of space makes the 'together time' even more special-and goes to kick it with her own friends!

Girls think a guy crying is weak.

Matured women offer their shoulder and a tissue.

Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.

Matured women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate without fear of losing his 'manhood'.

Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.

Matured women know that, that was just one man.

Girls fall in love and chase aimlesly after the object of their affection, ignoring all 'signs'.

Matured women know that sometimes the one you love, don't always love you back and move on, without bitterness.

Girls will read this and get an attitude.

Matured women will read this and pass it on to other Matured women and their male friends.

Another week passed by..

I went for my first annual health checkup here last week. I was nervous, no joke. Maybe cos i havent done any checkups for the last 5 years - i dunno what to expect. The nurse told us to fast for 12 hours before doing the lab work. That was kidna long.. i remembered it was only 8 hours last time, but i may be wrong.

Anyway, i got my result back on Sat, and it was very good! No high blood pressure or anything.. just that now my left arm is very sore because i took a Tdap shot. It is a preventive step that the doctor recommended to avoid tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis.

Tho i can barely lift my arm, I am just so glad that i am in a pink of health!!! *yippie*

Below are some pictures taken during my dinner @ Stingray Sushi in Scottsdale. The food was pretty good and the waitress is doing a good job. There was a crowd outside the restaurant by the time we finished. Too bad we couldnt more food cos there was only two of us. I will definitely come back again.

Fireworks display in Tempe

Some of the fireworks pics that i've took last nite @Tempe Town Lake, just opposite my apartment. Lotsa ppl sitting on the beach with us. Some even brought chairs and coolers and snacks to have a small picnic there. Seems like this a annual summer activity on 4th of July...

The Ozone, handmade calzone from Oregano's Pizza. Our dinner before fireworks.

I did not use a tripod, as you can see in the pics. They are quite blurry.. :P

I'm still alive..

Hi people, i'm back.

It has been a while since i last posted something. Im sorry but i have been extremely busy with my work ever since i came back from KL. I am even working today, on the 4th of July - US Independence Day. Most of ppl have gone travelling or visiting, or at least shopping... but here i am, in front of my PC at home, blogging out. Sounds pathetic huh...

John complained that i didnt blog as much as i do when he first met me. I agree.
John has also complained that i didnt take pictures as much as i do when he first met me. I also agree.
Not that i dont want to, but it is getting harder nowadays.

Prolly cos i have been spending most of my time working. These couple of weeks are very critical for my project and all my team members have been working our ass out. Where got time to write?

Re: pictures, last time i used to take alot of pictures of food - cos ether it is a new restaurant or i have never been there before. But now that US is my new home, and i frequent the restaurants here alot, so what's the point?

However, me and John have vowed to try each and every restaurant that is available in Tempe Marketplace (our new favourite shopping mall). So i could use some nice pictures as memories :)

And as a start, here are some pictures from our dinner last nite @ King's Fish House.

New England Clam Chowder.

Fried Coconut Shrimp.

Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon with Dry Rub.

Next! :)

Btw, tonite i am gonna watch fireworks. Altho i can watch it from my apartment, but should i go to the park and join the crowd? *think*think*

Oh, before i forget, Happy Independence Day to all the US folks!
