Long lost friend

I knew Megan when i joined the company as an intern in year 2002. We got along perfectly well and together with Jade and Lee Yan, we were the most famous girl group in the office back then. Ok, maybe i was exaggerating a lil, but we were indeed well known among the people at work (cos they were only a small number of ladies, especially younger ones).

After returning to study for for final semester in the university, we lost contact completely. I am not pointing fingers at anyone. Maybe it was because i was so occupied by my final year project at that time, that i didnt even take the slightest action to email her at least.

She left the company before i came back and years gone by without any idea what happened to her. I felt bad that i lost a good friend but then Facebook changed everything. (i did not get any money to help in promoting Facebook here).

She found me in Facebook, a website that has become increasingly famous in the cyberwave. I was so happy when i first got a message from her, after so long... She had 2 kids now and currently staying in PHX! What a coincidence!? I cant throw away this opportunity to meet her up and talk to each other again in person.

On New Year's Day, i went over to her apartment and i had the best day as a start for year 2008. She didnt change much, as pretty as she always be. She made some Malaysian food to take away my crave for the past week. How thoughtful and this is a proof of a dear friend.

Elysa was sick and she was crying a lot. Poor thing, she had a bad cold. Hope she will feel better soon. I am so looking forward to meet her again. See u soon, miss u so much!
