Warning! Cloverfield can cause motion sickness!

The trailer looks exciting. I was excited and eager to watch it so we decided to go on the opening day. We bought our tickets early, knowing that it will be sold out soon...

The cinema here in US is very different from Malaysia. There are no seats being assigned to u, hence you have to be there early, queue in front of the cinema hall and fight for the best seats. Our movie was at 7:30pm and it was shown in the Harkins Cine Capri at Tempe Marketplace, one of the largest cinema that they have so far.

Since it can accommodate a lot of movie patrons, we thought we should be there about 30 mins earlier to get some "decent seats" but much to our surprise, they were all taken. We only managed to get a front side seats, which was bad because we knew that the movie is shaky. There is nothing that much that we can do.

Cloverfield is shot based on a video camera held by one of the actors. They were supposed to be in a farewell party when Manhattan was attacked by a big "dinasour" (i guess). It gave birth/produced little creatures which attacked the poor humans. A lot of people died (of cos) including all the main characters...

The whole story was purely about how they tried to escape from the deadly scene but unfortunately, one by one died. There were some gross scenes but still bearable.

I had a lot of popcorns but i was so dizzy as a result from that freaking movie, i felt like throwing up. I will not say much but watch at your own risk!
